SAP announced high-profile customer wins and go-lives across a range of industry sectors in APJ, showing ongoing demand for cloud-based transformation as well as new innovations to boost growth like artificial intelligence and sustainability.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Q4 cloud revenue in APJ was up 28% to \u20ac499 million, up 36% at constant currencies.<\/li>\n<li>Q4\u00a0customer wins and go-lives in APJ included world-famous brands like<strong>\u00a0NEC Corporation<\/strong>, <strong>Coles Group<\/strong>, and <strong>Wipro<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>RISE with SAP continues to support APJ companies in their cloud transformation, with new wins and go-lives including <strong>Daikin Industries Ltd<\/strong> and <strong>Mitr Phol<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Companies like <strong>AusNet<\/strong>, <strong>Foodstuffs North Island<\/strong>, and <strong>Chandra Asri Pacific<\/strong> complemented SAP solutions with process and data innovation through SAP Signavio and SAP Datasphere.<\/li>\n<li>APJ also reported momentum with new\u00a0<strong>SAP S\/4HANA cloud\u00a0<\/strong>customers like\u00a0<strong>Airservices Australia<\/strong>, <strong>Christchurch City Council<\/strong>,<strong> Hitachi High-Tech Corporation<\/strong>, <strong>Manila Water Company<\/strong>, <strong>Mapletree Investments<\/strong>, <strong>Marubeni IT Solutions<\/strong>, and<strong> Marubeni Corporation<\/strong>, while <strong>Matsumoto Precision<\/strong>\u00a0selected SAP Sustainability Footprint Management to improve the environmental impact of its products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cloud revenue in APJ grew to \u20ac499M Euros in Q4 2023, an increase of 28% over same period 2022, with India and South Korea showing particular momentum. Total APJ Q4 2023 revenue grew to 1.184B Euros. These results culminated in full year APJ cloud revenue of 1.781B Euros in 2023, up 21% year-on-year and 29% at constant currency.<\/p>\n<p>RISE with SAP continues to underpin APJ\u2019s cloud transformation. In Australia, Coles Group chose RISE with SAP alongside renewing licenses for SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Fieldglass, and SAP Business Technology Platform. In Japan, NEC Corporation and Daikin Industries both chose RISE with SAP.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>President of SAP APJ, Paul Marriott, said \u201cAcross Asia Pacific and Japan, we see forward-thinking businesses recognising and acting on the need for ongoing strategic transformation supported by SAP. Once organisations are able to create a solid foundation in the cloud they can then explore new avenues of growth in areas like artificial intelligence, data analytics, and sustainability.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>SAP announced a range of customers taking advantage of these new innovations. AusNet complemented RISE with SAP with SAP Signavio, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Datasphere, while in New Zealand Foodstuffs North Island purchased SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Build Workzone, and SAP Datasphere to further its aim of becoming a future-ready enterprise. Meanwhile in Japan, Matsumoto Precision chose SAP Sustainability Footprint Management to collect and calculate the carbon footprint of its products, aiming to improve the environmental impact of its products.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThese results show the strength of SAP\u2019s strategy and our focus on customer outcomes,\u201d continued Marriott. \u201cBringing together our range of cloud solutions, business networks, and new innovations to drive growth, customers across Asia are increasingly becoming intelligent and sustainable businesses.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Q4 APJ Customers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Airservices Australia\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Airservices Australia, a government-owned organisation responsible for the safety of 11% of the world\u2019s airspace, is pleased to continue its relationship with SAP as we migrate from our on-premise SAP ERP platform to SAP S\/4 HANA in the cloud as part of our Back Office Enabling Transformation program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christchurch City Council\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christchurch City Council has purchased RISE with SAP with S\/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chandra Asri Pacific\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk is one of Indonesia\u2018s leading chemical and infrastructure companies, operating a range of chemical plants, as well as energy, water and jetty, and tank facilities. The company is embarking on a wide-ranging digital transformation journey underpinned by SAP. Chandra Asri realised it would need a modern digital architecture to support the next phase of its growth, while also simplifying its IT platforms and creating a single source of truth for improved decision-making. For this reason, the company will build a bill of materials (BOM) at manufacturing sites and link product option information at the time of receiving orders in Japan and overseas to the manufacturing sites.
