SAP & the UI Makeover | SAP Innovation Forum 2017

Ever since one can remember, SAP GUI has been the primary user interface to interact with SAP. This worked fine some time ago, when business users worked mostly with desktops. Today, with the advent of smart phones & tablets, the need of the hour is to have better UI solutions that adapt to the advances made in this area. SAP has therefore released SAP Fiori UX.

So, does that make SAP GUI obsolete? Not exactly, but most of the functionality used by business will be accessible over SAP Fiori from now on and Fiori will gradually become the primary user interface.

This is a welcome change as the new Fiori UI adheres to modern day UX design principles and brings in a sense of familiarity among users who have adapted to the intuitive UI of consumer software.

By developing once and deploying on multiple screen sizes, Fiori allows organizations to achieve platform independence, improved productivity, increased user adoption and among other things keeping enterprise software in vogue.

Visit the Accenture booth at the SAP Innovation Forum to get started on an SAP UX transformation journey that benefits your organization and allows you to leverage business value.
