SAP Selects Waterford Crystal For International Advertising Campaign

LondonSAP today announced Waterford Crystal, one of the world’s best-known luxury brands, has been selected to feature as part of its international ‘Momentum’ advertising campaign. The advertisements will be rolled out through airports and print media across the globe and were unveiled at Dublin Airport today.

Waterford Crystal runs mySAP Financials together with Logistics and Production planning within the mySAP Supply Chain Management solution. The project started in April 2000 and went live in June 2001 with 300 users. Since installation, Waterford Crystal has achieved significant business benefits from the SAP solution: ‘Our previous system didn’t take us to where we needed to be in terms of getting closer to customers and suppliers,” said George Walsh, General Manager, Best Practice, Waterford Crystal Ltd. “The SAP system is so integrated, with so much depth within it, that we are able to get in touch faster and more easily with our supplier base and our customers.”

Waterford Crystal joins a number of the world’s largest and most prestigious companies such as BMW, Nestle, Samsung, Palm and Bosch who feature in SAP’s worldwide advertising.
