Cambridge-based technology provider invests in solution and training for 20 offices across three continents

LondonARM, the industry’s leading provider of 16/32-bit embedded RISC processor solutions, has selected mySAP All-in-One and SAP for High Tech to support the company’s growth. The solution is to be implemented by Ascent Technology and SAP Consulting.

ARM sought a highly scalable integrated solution to enable them to manage growth and support a range of business processes, from design and planning to distribution and service. The web based SAP solution will give ARM improved visibility of its global business and help the company maintain an active control over its administrative and operations environment.

“SAP and Ascent have demonstrated a strong commitment to our business and understanding of our company,” said Philip Stanbury-Jones, IT Programme Manager at ARM. “We believe that SAP will be a trusted and innovative long-term technology partner that will meet our needs as we continue to grow.”

The company will also use SAP Tutor, which supports the simple, fast, and economical distribution of knowledge in electronic self-learning units. All employees can use them directly at their desktops or laptops. Employees can learn at their own pace, and they can repeat the units as often as required. The tutorials make it possible for employees to familiarise themselves easily with new applications and business processes. ARM will receive improved return on the investment due to reduced training and education costs, increased productivity and motivation of employees, increased competitiveness, and improved customer satisfaction.

“We are delighted to be supporting ARM in its endeavour to heighten its competitive advantage and empower its organisation to achieve sustainable growth and profitability,” said Tim Knight, Account Manager, SAP UK. “ARM is demonstrating its industry leadership by investing in technology today that will benefit the company as it grows.”
