BearingPoint Ireland Targets SME Sector with Appointment as Channel Partner for SAP Business All-in-One

DublinBearingPoint Ireland, the IT and management consultancy which employs 200 people in Dublin, has boosted its services to Irish Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) following its appointment as Channel Partner for SAP® Business All-in-One. BearingPoint is already a long standing global implementation partner of SAP in Ireland but the new agreement allows the firm to sell SAP software directly in Ireland for the first time to SMEs.

Earlier this month BearingPoint Ireland announced its participation in an EMEA management buyout (MBO) which it said will allow it react more flexibly to local market needs. SAP Business All-in-One is aimed at medium sized businesses employing between 30 and 1,000 people. It provides integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business modules to help companies run everything from financials, human resources, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, product development and corporate services, to customer service, sales, and marketing – or any combination of these.
“Ireland is predominately an SME marketplace. SAP Business All-in-One is an affordable solution that enables companies to manage their business and provides a platform for future expansion and profitable growth,” commented Mark McAleer, BearingPoint Ireland. “This development will further boost our offering into the Irish SME sector and means we can offer a complete solution that encompasses all aspects required for successful implementation, including SAP Business All-in-One software licensing, implementation services, training, documentation, and support.”
“The appointment of a respected local player like BearingPoint Ireland will increase SAP’s traction in the Irish marketplace,” commented Stephen Read, Director of SME, SAP UK& Ireland. “Its designation as an authorised SAP channel partner will help companies in the midsized market to achieve their objectives of improved growth, lower costs and a better control of business processes”.
