On track to Deliver Value to Customers through OnDemand Ecosystem
FELTHAM, Middx, UK — SAP today announced the introduction of its SAP ByDesign ecosystem for the UK market. Six new partners have been signed to support the volume business model of the on-demand SME offering; WNL Ltd, Business by the Cloud, itelligence, G3 Global and Broadgate Infonet. In addition to fully owning customer relationships, these partners will expand the reach and scope of the software by selling and positioning the on-demand solutions as well as deploying the services.
Globally, SAP has a partner network of over 10,000 companies and has a track record of success delivering and deploying SAP solutions from the SME portfolio. The partner network is now being extended to offer SAP Business ByDesign; the introduction of this programme began in Germany, France and the United States in November 2010.
“The partner channel is a fundamental part of our SME strategy, and introducing partners for SAP Business ByDesign is key. Customers are looking for faster time to value, easy deployment and flexible purchasing options – SAP and our partners offer all of these things,” said Ian Anstey, Head of SAP Business ByDesign, SAP UK.
Anstey continued, “I am delighted to welcome the new partners to our ecosystem and I look forward to working with each and every one of them as we move the SME on-demand business forward. To ensure their success, SAP will equip our partners with the tools and opportunities they need to ensure customer success.”
The UK partners are a mix of new names and existing SME channel partners into the UK market.

New SAP Business ByDesign UK Partners
WNL Ltd is a very exciting new addition to the SAP family. WNL is Netsuite’s largest partner in the UK and has successful track record in the SaaS based ERP business. WNL’s experience, combined with our product and brand is a fantastic combination.
Business by the Cloud
Business by the Cloud is a division of Edson Consulting (an existing SAP ecosystem partner). Business by the Cloud has been specifically created by Edson to focus on the SME sector with Business ByDesign and, over time, they hope to expand into the large enterprise market. The plan is to focus initially around the Midlands.
itelligence is SAP’s largest SME partner globally and in the UK. The team intends to initially target organisations below their normal sweetspot in discrete, component manufacturing and professional services.
G3 is a well regarded SAP Business All-in-One FastStart partner. They focus on the media industry, a new sector for Business ByDesign, and have developed their own Royalty Statement product which they sell via SaaS today. SAP Business ByDesign opens up the huge market for SME sized media companies in London and the South East. Ultimately, they plan to integrate their existing SaaS based, Royalty Statement product into ByDesign. An impressive company with a great presence and reference base in the Media segment. They will be a great addition to the ByD partner community in the UK.
Broadgate Infonet is an existing Gold SAP Business One partner. SAP Business ByDesign fits into Broadgate’s existing product portfolio as it enables them to provide an alternative SaaS based offering to companies who do not want an on premise solution and to larger companies in their target markets of professional services and manufacturing industries.
Sapphire Systems is an existing SAP Gold partner, who has worked with SAP for several years and has won awards for their dedication to both sales and their customer relationships. SAP Business ByDesign will complement Sapphire’s SAP Business One sales efforts by providing an alternative to companies who want to invest in SAP software but do not want an On Premise solution.
