Professional Services Business Looks to SAP to Support Fast Growth Plans
Feltham, UK — SAP UK & Ireland today announces that leading provider of business service management solutions, Tiberone, has selected SAP® Business ByDesign to streamline business processes, enable the organisation to become more efficient, and to provide a platform to support the company’s fast growth plans.
Tiberone operates in the UK, Netherlands and United Arab Emirates, and design, deliver and support Business Service Management solutions from software provider BMC. Until today, the company has been using Quickbooks®, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint together with multiple excel spreadsheets to manage their business.
Ben Chehraz, Commercial Director at Tiberone commented on the need for the company to invest in new technology; “As the company grew, we found it difficult to maintain visibility into what was happening across the organisation. Processes became disjointed meaning that getting one version of the truth was difficult. Although these processes and solutions have supported us until now, we know that we need a new platform for our business moving forward as the company continues to grow. We currently have 50 employees and have aggressive targets to double this by the end of 2012; therefore, it’s critical that we act quickly to get the systems in place to support this.”
Once the decision was made that it was the right time to invest in new technology, Tiberone set about selecting the software that was right for them.
“We did initially look at upgrading our existing systems but with the hardware on site, it was a big overhead and our experience from our existing systems showed that we spent too much time maintaining them. This lead to the decision to look at a Cloud based solution. Over the last two years we have been working with our own customers, helping them to exploit the benefits of the Cloud. We are aware of the normal concerns about security and availability but having reviewed this in detail, we felt extremely comfortable and knew that this was the best approach for us. The cost of ownership would also be much lower, which meant that we could invest in other areas of our business,” said Chehraz.
“We chose SAP’s Business ByDesign solution over others we looked at because we were impressed with the integrated system, most importantly bringing our CRM and finance functions together. Our consultants are also able to have access to the system wherever they are in the world, which is a huge benefit for us. Our employees trust the SAP brand and we are excited about the benefits this technology will bring to our business” concluded Chehraz.
Ian Anstey, Head of SAP Business ByDesign for SAP UK & Ireland, welcomed the new customer signing; “We are delighted to welcome another exciting, fast growing company to the SAP Business ByDesign family. We are about to start on the implementation with the team at Tiberone and expect a go-live in September so that they can start improving their time to revenues and begin working more efficiently as soon as possible.”
“We are also really excited because having been so impressed with the team at SAP as well as the technology, Tiberone has also begun talks with us about potentially being part of our ecosystem in the future. This is set to be the start of a long and fruitful relationship.”
