SAP is committed to building a more sustainable, profitable future, and strives to enable customers to increase their overall resource productivity and transform their businesses to reduce carbon output. The responsibility to operate sustainably flows throughout the entire organisation, and is driven from the top by our CEO, Christian Klein. Christian made a commitment at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos to deliver a significantly cleaner ocean, with the launch of a technology solution that will help Ghana to minimise plastics waste and ensuring responsible sourcing using SAP’s Ariba solution.
As part of SAP’s mission to help the world run better and improve people’s lives, SAP is supporting the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Carbon Community’s purpose is to conserve, improve and protect the physical nature and natural environment, while advancing the education of the public in the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment. The partnership encourages individuals to plant trees in the SAP Forest UK, which can be achieved through a variety of ways. If you are interested in supporting the SAP Forest UK, you can donate to plant a tree here.
Planting trees has never been so easy with our new SAP Christmas eCards, by re-directing a small price to make a big difference. Every eCard that is sent will help fund the planting of trees in the SAP Forest UK and support research on carbon capture in trees and soil. It’s the perfect way to simultaneously show appreciation to those around you and bring about meaningful change this Christmas.
