LetsGetChecked Selects RISE With SAP And Sapphire Systems

Fast growing global healthcare solutions leader drives digital transformation and builds scale with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

LONDON, UK SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced global healthcare solutions company LetsGetChecked, has selected RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud with Sapphire Systems, the largest digital operating transformation provider to mid-market and mid-enterprise. The platform will support rapid growth and diversification at the Dublin-based innovator of healthcare services, facilitating greater control, collaboration and confidence. The initial project is anticipated to be live in December 2022, with roll-out to the company’s laboratories to follow in phase two.

LetsGetChecked experienced exponential growth since its founding in 2015. Having secured $71 Million in Series C funding, opened its first privately owned state-of-the-art laboratory in Monrovia, CA in the US, and delivered against overwhelmingly high demand for COVID-19 testing, a new platform had become imperative to underpin global operations and sustain future growth. The company closed a $150 million Series D round of financing in June 2021, which brought the total capital raised by LetsGetChecked to more than $260 million.

Having used cloud accounting application Xero since its inception, LetsGetChecked’s market potential and ambitious growth plans necessitated a more scalable, intelligent and comprehensive end-to-end platform, which would support the entire business. Crucially, the solution needed to support nuances such as complex LOT traceability, expiry date management, and regulatory compliance around patient health records.

Following a thorough evaluation of the market, LetsGetChecked selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud from a shortlist comprising Netsuite and Microsoft. The decision was based on the system’s depth of capabilities, intelligence and scale as well as ease of use – access to SAP Ariba Network for greater collaboration in procurement was also considered particularly valuable. Sapphire Systems was chosen as the deployment partner based on experience and expertise on similar projects and there was a strong cultural fit with the team.

“We’ve seen massive disruption in the healthcare market as consumers and employers have become more and more comfortable with the concept of at-home testing and care, and this has catapulted our model extremely quickly,” said Gary Fitzgerald, Group Financial Controller of LetsGetChecked.

“Our decision to invest in a world-class digital platform was pivotal to support our next stage of      growth and it quickly became clear that SAP S/4 HANA Cloud would be an excellent fit for our complex business model. Their system delivers automation, simplifies business processes in the cloud, provides real-time business insights and visibility of the entire sales, inventory and fulfilment lifecycle. Complementing the platform, Sapphire Systems understands all our complexities and specific needs. Their team worked closely with us to scope out the right project methodology and expedite performance,” continued Fitzgerald.

“If there is one thing the last two years have taught us, it is that speed of change and adaptability to change defines success,” comments Chris Gabriel, Chief Strategy Office for Sapphire. “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with LetsGetChecked and SAP to deliver the powerful combination of SAP S/4HANA Cloud speed and RISE adaptability to create the digital operating platform that will now sit at the core.”

“RISE with SAP is designed to help organisations deploy SAP S/4HANA Cloud in the most straightforward, structured way possible, enabling their digital transformation in the cloud,” comments Michiel Verhoeven, managing director for SAP UK & Ireland. “We have a great sense of pride from servicing high growth, market innovators such as LetsGetChecked. Through the strength of Sapphire Systems as a quality SAP Partner, RISE will enable a faster time to deploy, implementation of standard processes and innovation outside the core.”
