SAP SuccessFactors will redefine HR operations for 14,000 employees

London, UK – Feb 19 2025: SAP (NYSE: SAP) today announces that Inspired Education Group, the leading global group of premium schools, has renewed its partnership with SAP SuccessFactors to implement AI and streamline its human resources (HR) service delivery for employees across its organisation worldwide.

Inspired Education provides a premium education to 120 schools, 95,000+ students on six continents. With 14,000 employees, of which 60% are teachers, the organisation required a unified HR platform to help its digital transformation journey, provide localised market support, drive operational efficiencies, and support it as a leading provider of private schools worldwide.

After five years of partnership, this new deal showcases how AI is central to Inspired Education’s HR operations. Inspired Education will onboard SAP’s AI copilot, Joule, to redefine its recruitment strategy, manage employee appraisals, and support its global employee HR experience. For instance, Joule will provide Inspired Education’s staff with self-service HR functionality for the first time, reducing unnecessary bureaucracy and time spent on administrative tasks, enabling the HR department to focus on strategic work.

For the organisation itself, Joule will support talent retention by delivering actionable employee data that will inform performance reviews, goal-setting, policy development and benefit inductions. Under the SuccessFactors deployment, Joule will also have an impact on talent acquisition. Inspired Education will use the copilot during the interview process to review CVs and map skills to job profiles, as well as generate questions and tasks. This will accelerate the time-to-hire across the organisation’s global network and keep staff morale high.

Leila Romane, Managing Director SAP UK and Ireland said: “Our partnership with Inspired Education continues to go from strength to strength. Global organisations need access to real-time data insights to deliver value to their employees. With SAP SuccessFactors and the deployment of our copilot, Joule, we are driving genuine transformation that will see Inspired Education better understand its workforce, how they operate, produce better talent recruitment and retention strategies, whilst reducing heavy administrative processes. We’ll continue work together to ensure Inspired Education remains at the forefront of educational excellence.”

Additionally, a key factor behind Inspired Education’s decision was personalisation and the option to curate the implementation of SuccessFactors and choose which modules are rolled out and when. Backed by native language support across its global operations, Inspired Education will start with SuccessFactors Employee Central, Performance and Recruiting before going live with the Onboarding, Compensation and Workforce Analytics modules over the next three years.

Torben Lundberg, Chief Information Officer at Inspired Education, said: “We are committed to providing a premium educational experience for all 95,000 of our students, and our teachers and staff are key to this ambition. As an organisation, we recognised the need for a unified HR platform that could bring together our operations worldwide and drive out inefficiencies, increasing internal mobility and empowering our staff to do what they do best without unnecessary burden. SAP SuccessFactors will support us through our work in transforming our processes and workflows through digital tools.”
