SAP Canada Chief Operating Officer Sam Masri Named One of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40

Toronto, CAN October 29, 2020 SAP Canada is pleased to announce that Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sam Masri, has been named as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2020. The award is an annual recognition of the exceptional achievements of 40 outstanding Canadians under the age of 40.

As COO for SAP Canada, Sam Masri is responsible for the development and execution of SAP Canada’s overall go-to-market strategies across its solutions portfolio. Along with an ecosystem of stakeholders, Masri is a driving force behind the digital transformation of SAP customers across the country.

“Sam has already proven himself a transformational leader globally at SAP,” said Andy Canham, President, SAP Canada. “Whether working with customers or colleagues, Sam remains principled in everything he does. He is passionate about elevating those around him, a champion in developing young and diverse talent, and laser focused on delivering remarkable results. Founded in 1995, Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 has recognized more than 800 outstanding Canadians and is the country’s most coveted award for young business leaders.

“Sam and the other recipients for 2020 were selected from over 900 nominees by an Independent Advisory Board comprising more than 25 business leaders from across Canada,” said Jeff Freeborough, Managing Partner with Caldwell Partners, the founder of Canada’s Top 40 under 40. “Recipients were chosen on four key criteria: Vision & Innovation; Leadership; Impact & Influence; and, Social Responsibility – all of which Sam embodies.”

The announcement was made today on BNN Bloomberg and in the National Post with the recipients also being honoured at a series of events to take place in 2021.
