Paris, December 19 – Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, recognized by TIME Magazine as the world’s most sustainable company, accelerates its global digital transformation through a strategic partnership with SAP.

Increased simplification and agility

Schneider Electric is on a journey to becoming the most digital company in its industry. To adapt to a fast-moving business environment while seizing new opportunities for growth, Schneider has launched strategic business transformation programs across geographies, driving process and data standardization at scale. By adopting GROW with SAP and RISE with SAP, the group intends to enhance the experience for its customers while further increasing its efficiency and speed.

In October, Schneider Electric successfully went live in Germany, which is a major milestone towards their long-term vision of an end-to-end digital transformation. With the move to S/4HANA Public Cloud, Schneider Electric is shaping the industry standard and has fully migrated the plant from the legacy SAP ECC environment.

 Strengthened partnership with SAP

Through its partnership with SAP, Schneider Electric is implementing a single digital core and standardized global processes. This convergence through business transformation programs reinforces agility and improves real-time decision-making, while increasing the transparency and efficiency of its operations.

“Our partnership with SAP is strategic and enables us to simplify our operations, while achieving levels of efficiency and speed unrivalled in our industry. Together, we are on a shared path towards simplification and efficiency – and see technology as a key enabler in that journey.” said Elizabeth Hackenson, Global Chief Information Officer at Schneider Electric.

“We are proud to collaborate with Schneider Electric on this strategic project, which embodies our shared vision of combining technological innovation and operational excellence. This partnership is based on our RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP solutions, illustrating our commitment to simplifying operations, enhancing agility and accelerating decision-making in real time. Together, we’re turning today’s challenges into opportunities, setting new industry standards while helping Schneider Electric achieve a high-performance future.” said Jan Gilg, President and Chief Product Officer Cloud ERP – SAP.

Launch of a co-location space boosts collaboration
Schneider Electric and SAP have also launched a dedicated co-location space to support the long-term goals of Schneider Electric’s business transformation program around simplification through standardization and efficiency.
