It is the fourth largest FMCG company in India with close to 7 million local retail outlets and operates in over 120 countries globally. Marrying traditional wisdom with modern-day science, Dabur has successfully transformed its family-run business into a professionally managed enterprise. To further its growth ambitions, Dabur chose RISE with SAP to drive its innovation-led projects; and connect its treasury and risk management workflow with core business processes to facilitate better business planning and set new standards in corporate governance. Birlasoft is part of the CK Birla Group, a global enterprise digital and IT services company, and this quarter became the first systems integrator in India to go-live with RISE with SAP. By implementing RISE with SAP, the company has streamlined and modernised its operations to drive innovation across its business functions, including HR, total records, cash management, data and integration services, and services for SAP deployment. With support from SAP Cloud Success Services, Birlasoft has successfully completed the entire migration from its SAP S/4HANA on-premises instance to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, within six months, across more than 20 countries. On September 13, SAP announced that SAP SuccessFactors unveiled new innovations for its Human Experience Management (HXM) Suite to create a powerful way for organizations to execute on an integrated talent development strategy and create a future-ready workforce. The new capabilities are the most significant developments that SuccessFactors has had in the last decade, according to global industry analyst Josh Bersin. In APJ, SAP reported two new leading retail companies – Chemist Warehouse in Australia, and Trent Ltd in India – have selected SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management Suite (SuccessFactors) to help build the workforce agility needed to keep pace with continuous change, critical in today’s post-pandemic world.

Chemist Warehouse is Australia’s largest pharmacy retailer, operating over 500 stores and the top online pharmacy in the country. The group employs over 20,000 staff members and chose SAP SuccessFactors to modernise its HXM system to support its rapid expansion in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Chemist Warehouse will deploy SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its core HR platform to manage and integrate recruiting, onboarding, performance and goals, and learning, across the group. With the SAP solutions, the group will be able to reduce manual workloads for its system administrators, increase internal mobility of their workforce – such as cross-boarding pharmacists into corporate roles, accelerate hiring processes, and support an increased number of candidates for internship programs. Chemist Warehouse chose SAP for its proven track record in supporting complex organisations across commercial and public sectors in the industry, with deep solution functionality on a secure platform. Through automated workflows, the group aims to improve integration into other HR and non-HR systems, create more engaging experiences for all employees and franchisees, and enhance its talent acquisition and retention efforts.

Established in 1998 as part of the Tata Group, Trent Ltd. operates more than 500 stores including Westside, one of India’s leading chains of fashion retail stores. Trent is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy, expanding its employee base by 150% in just five years. Yet, it quickly became clear Trent needed new HR management software to support its goals, catering to current and future employee needs, and boosting the employee experience to attract and retain talent. Trent selected SAP SuccessFactors to continue its transformation and to modernise its HR landscape by managing its growing workforce with a world-class cloud solution. The SuccessFactors implementation supports a strong SAP solution suite, including SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Ariba.

SAP APJ also reported that Dole Asia Holdings has chosen Taulia – an SAP company – for Taulia Dynamic Discounting and Taulia Supply Chain Finance program on the Taulia multi-funder network. Singapore-based Dole Asia Holdings is a global consumer food and beverage company that produces and distributes fresh fruits and vegetables and packaged food products. Part of the SAP Group since January 2022, Taulia offers early payment through supply chain finance, dynamic discounting and accounts receivable finance. With two appointed international banks as its initial participating funders for the supply chain finance program, Dole Asia Holdings plans to add other preferred banks in the future. The program will benefit Dole Asia Holdings in strengthening its supply chain by improving the financial resilience of suppliers and improving therefore sustainability. Over 2,000 suppliers across Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand will benefit from the program.
