SAP Switzerland Recognized as a Great Place to Work for the Sixth Year in a Row

SAP Newsbyte – May 14, 2020 This year again, SAP Switzerland has been certified as one of the best employers in Switzerland: At the Great Place to Work Awards today, SAP took fourth place in the category “companies with more than 250 employees”. The employer award is presented annually and honors companies that represent special achievements in developing trustful working relationships and creating attractive and beneficial working conditions for employees. SAP Switzerland has received the award for the sixth year in a row since it first participated in the competition. The coveted award underscores SAP’s attractiveness as an employer. This year, due to the current situation, the award ceremony was held virtually.

The basis for the award is an anonymous survey conducted by Great Place to Work, an international research and consulting institute that uses a globally established model to analyze workplace culture with evidence-based standards. The survey includes questions about key elements of workplace culture, such as trust, pride, fairness, team spirit, professional development, remuneration, health promotion, work-life balance, and leadership quality. This survey, which accounts for two-thirds of the total score of the result, is supplemented by a “culture audit” – an analysis of HR processes.

Gabriel Wiskemann, Human Resources Director SAP Switzerland, officially accepted the award at the virtual award ceremony this morning. “We are honored to be certified as a Great Place to work in Switzerland sixth year in a row. We owe this primarily to our employees.” said the Head of Human Resources, delighted with the award. “This proves that our efforts to deliver positive experiences to our employees are going in the right direction. We want to offer all employees an inclusive workplace, where they can bring what they are each single day”.

In Switzerland, a total of 200 companies from a wide range of industries with a total of over 17 000 employees took part in the survey. 46 of them were nominated as a “Great Place to Work”.
