JAKARTA, 12 Mei 2022 — Andreas Diantoro, Managing Director of SAP Indonesia, joined an elite group of CEOs in the country when he was awarded Indonesia Best CEO Awards in the Enterprise Application Software category organized by The Iconomics recently.
“This award is especially meaningful due to its many “firsts”. “First” for me since I joined SAP Indonesia four years ago. “First” for SAP in its 25 years of operations in Indonesia,” said Diantoro.
He also expressed his gratitude to SAP Indonesia employees for supporting the digital transformation plans for Indonesian companies together. “Our purpose is to enable Indonesia to run better and improve Indonesians’ lives,” said Diantoro in his acceptance speech.
When asked about the challenges faced by SAP in enabling Industry 4.0, Diantoro said that SAP has accelerated its transformation process – learnings from which would enable them to provide better services and solutions for their clients undergoing digital transformation.
“In the last three years through the pandemic, we played a big role in helping more than 26 industries in Indonesia to transform digitally,” he continued.
Diantoro also hopes that this award and SAP’s efforts can inspire more talents in Indonesia to achieve excellence and contribute towards the country’s progress.
The Indonesia Best CEO Award was given to 50 CEOs or president directors of companies that received the highest scores in their respective sub-categories. Winners were decided based on a survey with 8,000 employees from more than 200 companies. The leaders were assessed based on popularity, competency, crisis leadership, and personality.
