Appointment of Aveena Mothilall to the African SAP User Group Board

The African SAP User Group (AFSUG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aveena to its Board, effective 1 September 2023. Aveena brings a wealth of experience and a passion for innovation to the AFSUG Board, marking an exciting step forward for our mission to enhance SAP solutions across Africa.

Aveena’s career has been a journey of transformation and leadership. She started as a management trainee at SAB in 1999, delving into SAP and project management, and later became the Solutions Manager at City Power, where she played a pivotal role in the first SAP ISU rollout in Africa. Her career further flourished during her 15-year tenure at Sasol and her current role as CIO at Engen.

Aveena’s specialties encompass SAP, Business Transformation, People Management, Change Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Programme Management. Her proven ability to drive results aligns perfectly with AFSUG’s goals to empower SAP users across Africa.

In addition to her AFSUG Board role, Aveena will continue to serve on the S/4HANA Steering Committee, reinforcing her valuable contributions.
