London – SAP UK has been recognised by Great Places To Work as the sixth best super large employer in the UK for a second year running! SAP UK continues to celebrate its top ten status across numerous employer awards, achieving 5th according to the Top Employers Institute and 8th according to Glassdoor.

The Great Places To Work evaluation process is heavily based on employee experience. Rankings are calculated using a combination of employee surveys and an assessment of the organisational practices that make a genuine impact on workplace culture.

SAP UK enjoyed excellent employee feedback that commended the resources available across all areas of the business, however significant attention was directed to those focusing on the wellbeing of employees. Consequently, SAP UK was awarded the Excellence in Wellbeing certification, confirming employee’s appreciation and recognition of the resources available to them.

The recent introduction of Mental Health First Aiders demonstrates the passion SAP UK has in breaking down barriers around mental health; it also highlights SAP UK’s willingness to equip employees with the resources they need to work effectively.

Similarly, weekly mindfulness sessions are available to help employees maximise their mental wellbeing, and this initiative has been expanded since the government advice to work from home. Moreover, as employees can no longer access the onsite gym due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Mobility Room team is offering 40-minute online classes, five days a week to help employees stay fit and healthy.

Jens Amail, SAP UK’s Managing Director commented, “I am delighted SAP UK has maintained its ranking in the Great Place to Work UK 2020 UK’s Best Workplaces! I couldn’t be prouder of all my colleagues for making SAP such a fantastic place to work, learn and grow. Together we can lift up societies, because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.”

In addition, SAP UK is recognised by Great Places to Work as the 3rd Best Workplace in Tech and the 4th Best Workplace for Women.

Over the last year, SAP has further enhanced flexible working programmes, expanding both maternity and paternity leave entitlements, as well as promoting work-life balance initiatives for those with childcare or other caring responsibilities.

Alongside this, SAP has partnered with the social enterprise From Babies with Love, whose profits are donated to causes supporting orphaned and abandoned children around the world.  To celebrate the arrival of an employee’s newborn, SAP UK organises an ethically sustainable gift – from ‘From Babies With Love’ – to be sent to the new parent.

SAP UK is committed to fostering an employee culture where all employees can thrive in a dynamic, innovative and diverse workplace. To be consistently recognised by Great Places to Work is an immense achievement and testimony to the vibrant and friendly environment culture SAP UK cherishes.
